The Avaya Partner ACS 5 Slot Carrier provides the mounting and expansion framework for an Avaya Partner Advanced Communications System (ACS). Designed to accommodate a Partner ACS processor and additional system modules, the five-slot carrier provides an organized way to build or expand a Partner ACS telephone system. It is particularly useful when an installation requires additional station, line, voice mail, or other compatible expansion capacity beyond the processor module itself.
Avaya Partner ACS 5 Slot Carrier Features
- Provides 5 module slots for an Avaya Partner ACS telephone system.
- Accommodates a Partner ACS processor and up to 4 compatible expansion modules or voice mail equipment.
- Provides an organized mounting structure for compatible Partner ACS system modules.
- Suitable for expanding or maintaining an existing Partner ACS installation.
- Useful as a replacement carrier when servicing an installed Partner ACS system.
Compatibility
The Avaya Partner ACS 5 Slot Carrier is designed for use with Avaya Partner ACS telephone system equipment. One slot is used for the Partner ACS processor, while the remaining four positions provide space for compatible expansion modules or voice mail equipment. The exact modules installed will depend on the configuration and requirements of the Partner ACS system.
For businesses continuing to operate Partner ACS equipment, the 5 Slot Carrier provides a practical foundation for maintaining or expanding the existing telephone system. Its modular design allows compatible system components to be installed together in a structured enclosure rather than replacing the complete communications platform when additional capacity is needed. The carrier is also useful when rebuilding or servicing an existing Partner ACS installation using compatible processor and expansion modules.
