A single Avaya EU24 1XU-A Key Expansion Module (700345192, 700381817) can be connected directly to supported Avaya telephones. Power requirements depend on whether the EU24 is being used with a digital or IP telephone.
- Direct Connection: A single EU24 is supported with the Avaya 2420/5420, 4620/5620, 4621/5621, and 4625 telephones.
- Digital Telephones: Requires an Avaya 1151 Series power supply.
- IP Telephones: Power over Ethernet (PoE) can be used when the PoE source supports Class 3.
- Avaya IP Office: Supports a maximum of eight EU24 expansion modules per IP Office system.
The EU24 is a practical solution for environments where the standard programmable buttons on a telephone are not sufficient. This makes the module particularly useful for busy offices and other applications where multiple lines or system features must be accessed throughout the day.
