Our 1 Year Phone Equipment Warranty

What does the ONE YEAR WARRANTY COVER?

Every phone, system, or part purchased from COMTALK, Inc. comes with a (1) one-year warranty from COMTALK, Inc. (Cordless or Wireless phones excluded) COMTALK, Inc. promises to ship phone replacement parts within one (1) business day, when under the warranty. If a problem occurs with your phone system equipment or parts within the first fifteen (30) calendar days after receipt of the item, COMTALK, Inc., will advance replace it with a prepaid call tag to ship the defective equipment back. COMTALK, Inc. will only replace phones using ground shipping. Expedited shipping is available provided the customer pays the total cost to ship the phone systems and/or parts. All call tags are issued with ground services freight. Customer will be issued a Return Authorization number from COMTALK, Inc. and the defective equipment will be sent back to COMTALK, Inc. no later than seven (7) business days after date of warranty replacement. Should defective equipment not be returned in proper time, customer will be issued an invoice for the advanced replacement item and payment will be due. Refurbished Products

What exactly does refurbished mean?

Refurbished phone products are recondition to manufacturer's specifications. Every one our phones and phone systems are disassembled and repainted (if needed) or replaced with New plastic and buttons. All phone internal circuitry is tested at the component level. Once reassembled, each phone undergoes a rigorous multi-step reconditioning process before being repackaged with new phone cords, keycaps/designation strips. Before shipping, every phone goes through a complete electronics diagnostics test.

What condition can we expect the phones to be in?

Many of our competitors simply give phones a light cleaning before reselling a "B" or "C" stock product. COMTALK, Inc. only sells "A" stock, premium grade phones and system components to eliminate potential problems for our customers and to sustain our good reputation for quality and service. Most refurbished phones and parts are sold in such pristine condition that they could often pass for new.

New or Unused Products

Do you carry New Phone System Products and parts?

Yes. New or unused phone system products come in original manufacture's packaging complete with all original documentation and accessories.

Return Policy

What is Your Return Policy?

COMTALK, Inc. accepts returns on new and refurbished phone system equipment with the exception of New equipment which has been opened, there will be a 30% restocking fee applied to each New part opened. The restocking fee for all returned phones and phone system equipment and parts is 20%. Products must be returned within (15) calendar days of Invoice. After (15) calendar days, no returns will be accepted. Phones must be returned as received with all original packaging, documentation and accessories. Products that are incomplete or defective will not be refunded. All new Polycom phone equipment has a 30% restocking fee.

International Orders

Do you sell phones outside the United States?

Yes. COMTALK, Inc. will honor all warranties. However, all phone system orders outside the jurisdiction of the United States are non-refundable and non-returnable. Shipping costs, however, from, and to, the customers location to honor the phone equipment warranty, are to be paid by the customer and will not be paid by COMTALK, Inc.

COMTALK, Inc. does not, in any way, distribute, transfer, sell or exchange customer information. All customer information is used for the purpose of processing orders or other related activities regarding processing, customer service, and sales offers. COMTALK, Inc. does not send unsolicited "junk" email (spam). Do you offer credit to businesses and government agencies for phone system purchases?

Yes. We offer Corporate and Government credit terms to qualified businesses and government agencies. Credit is only given to businesses with above average credit only. We have the right to refuse any business or agency credit based on our credit assessment criteria. How secure is our online purchase?

Phones, systems and part orders placed from our website are processed with Paypal standard secured checkout. Financial data submitted online is processed by Paypal in accordance with the current legal requirements of the Federal data protection law, the telecommunications laws and the Teleservices protection law. Credit Card numbers and financial information submitted online are not be revealed to us by Paypal.

Shipping

How much does shipping of phone equipment purchases cost?

COMTALK, Inc. ships with UPS small package and UPS Freight to ship orders that require pallets. Your shipping quote will be based on weight and delivery time requested. **Emergency Shipping** If a part is needed the same day please call us at (800) 955-6082 we are sometimes able to help you get a part the same day if we are notified early enough.
